Amazon Produce Network began life in 2000 as a grower representative with the sole purpose of ensuring the highest possible return for its grower.  While Amazon did not import or distribute product at that time, it concentrated exclusively on monitoring the quality and condition of its grower’s arrivals and working with the importers/distributors to ensure the best return. 

Amazon has since grown into the largest importer and distributor of Brazilian mangoes and expanded into other growing regions and products, but has never forgotten what it learned as a small grower representative: that ensuring the best possible return to the grower comes from providing the best possible service to the customer.  Amazon works very hard to provide the best service to its customer in order to offer the best possible return to the grower.
